Shahid Pervez is a Post graduate (M.Sc.) experienced person and belongs to a well business class family and having great understanding of business. Being vast gap of demand & supply of Makhana, he felt to set Mechanization of Makhana Processing, which processing is Manual until now. He has gathered sufficient knowledge in the line of proposed activity.
He is a proud Entrepreneur to FIRST fabricate Makhana Popping Machine by M/S Jwala Engineering, Ambala in 2013 developed by CIPHET, Ludhiana after seeing its prototype at CIPHET Workshop, Ludhiana as owner of then S.K.Agency, Saharsa.
The purchased fabricated machine was new and its prototype was developed by Central Institute of Post-Harvesting Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) Ludhiana. There was no Standardization of Operating Procedure (SOP). He changes many system in operating Machine. He got SABAGRI STARTUP Incubation by Bihar Agricultural University, SABOUR, Bhagalpur and get grant from RKVY, MoA and FW, from GOI, New Delhi for this. After getting grant, worked continuously and make SOP of the Makhana Popping Machine.
His work was appreciated by ICAR, New Delhi. His Startup was acknowledged by Dr.S.N.Jha DDG, ICAR, New Delhi and Dr R.K.Vishkarma, PI, CIPHET, Ludhiana. After getting result and making SOP (Standardization of Operating Procedure) of Makhana Popping and Primary Roaster of Seeds (Which was developed by his feedback in 2019) CIPHET granted Licenses and Technical Support for manufacturing Makhana Popping and Roasting Machine, Patented by CIPHET, Ludhiana. During total Mechanization of MPP out of five (5), one Machines used in it, were already in use in other Processing Industry.
Two Machines is fabricated/Invented by him will be patented after Certification by CIPHET.
